Cantor Wendy Siegel leads us with much joy and enthusiasm. Our Shabbat services are held two Fridays per month. We occasionally hold a Saturday morning Shabbat, or a Saturday afternoon/evening Havdalah. Our services have an emphasis on songs and prayers in Hebrew, while also including many English readings. We are non-denominational and unaffiliated, bringing together a blend of many traditions. Shabbat services are always followed by an Oneg where members catch up on each other's lives.
Holidays and festivals are important at Temple Emanuel and we joyously celebrate all the major ones including Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Sukkot, Chanukah, Purim, and a catered Passover Second Night Community Seder.
Non-members are welcome to attend our services to see what we are all about. We occasionally invite our Christian friends in the community to come together with us to pray in a spirit of solidarity.
