Community Involvement Efforts

Events and Activities

Temple Emanuel has a long tradition of Sisterhood. The women in the congregation meet once a month for breakfast to socialize, participate in a book club, and together, plan ways to do good for the congregation such as sending out Chanukah gift packages to our college students and buying the flowers for the High Holidays. They are a caring group that offers support to members in need.

We offer opportunities to socialize, learn, and give back to the community. Make new friends through pot luck and catered dinners, adult ed, breakfasts, picnics, holiday celebrations, yard sales, and interfaith and community events.
